Care guide
Wool rugs
To keep your wool rug soft and beautiful, vacuum it regularly on low power, without a rotating brush.
If there is a stain, dab it gently with a clean cloth and cold water, without rubbing.
For a full wash, use a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely in the open air. Given how dense Mrirt wool is, professional cleaning is recommended to preserve the fibres and the natural colours.

Care and stain removal
Dust your stool regularly with a soft, dry cloth, taking care of the carved reliefs.
Avoid large amounts of water, household products and abrasive cleaners, to preserve the natural patina of the wood.
For an oil stain, gently blot the excess with paper towel, without rubbing. Then sprinkle with fuller’s earth (terre de Sommières), leave it for several hours, and gently remove the powder. Test on a discreet area first.
Keep your piece away from damp, excessive heat and direct sunlight, to preserve all the beauty of its wood and its patina.
